Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due

The issue of copyright has long been at the forefront of any publishing issue.  In order for authors not to be accused of plagiarism (using someone’s work and calling it your own), the judicious use of bibliographies, endnotes and footnotes must be applied.

An endnote is an explanation at the end of a chapter of a particular point, whereas a footnote appears at the end of the book.  In addition, bibliographies list the source of your material used to create your book.  If you use a wordprocessor like Microsoft Word, these features are readily available, intuitive and easy to learn.
