How long would she stand the abuse before she understood that this was not the life for her?
We someone going through the fire and coming out as gold. We see mindsets that keep us in bondage and the eventual breaking of that mindset. This is an open window into the life of an otherwise private person for us to see, acknowledge and understand that God can use anyone, any situation, any thing to bring about His Glory. We see hope- false and real. We see determination to excel despite the odds. (Editor’s Comment – The Publisher’s Notebook Ltd)
EXCERPT FROM FOREWORD
This book is an invitation to share in the woundedness of a minister of the church who serves as a pastor and who has dared to open her own life, its crevices and corners and its hidden and shielded places, to any and every reader and by so doing to make herself additionally vulnerable in the process.
The author of this book now named Angel Victory does not pretend that the gospel offers a magic wand to wave the issues of her life away. But rather in this book she acknowledges these as dysfunctional family settings yet seasoned with grace; false senses of self and accompanying loss of self confidence attended with a spiritual searching understood as battle to find God.
This is the story of one person and pastor but in many senses it’s the story of many, rescued by the relentless grace of God lavished so abundantly upon all. (Rev Karl Henlin, Pastor of the Gregory Park Baptist Church and Past Chairman of the Portmore Ministers’ Fraternal)
